What a nice day to start the week. I-GOT-FREAKING-STUCK-AT-SIMEI-THIS-MORNING-FOR-1.5HRS!!

What was really disappointing was the shuttle buses provided. I assumed they came from Tampines, then to Simei then to Tanah Merah. Puh-lease, they should know that Tampines IS a big estate!! You think people at Simei can get on? Please use your brains la!! Even I had to use a method that I think is quite mean, but I had no choice, as I was already running late for work by 1.5 hr. I freaking cut the queue and squeezed up one of the shuttles. Look at the following article for some idea of how many freaking people like me who had to wait for shuttle buses that were IMPOSSIBLE to get up. AT ALL.

I swear I can see myself somewhere there. I hope that they (by which I mean the management) can actually make personal trips in cognito and find out how freaking inconvenient it was!!

Ok. That was wishful thinking on my part. Who in the right mind would spend a nice Monday morning standing in the sun observing how commuters behave when they can do so in their rooms with their nice cool air cons? Heh. And they think they can appease us by saying "SMRT apologises for the inconvenience caused." If they know how inconvenient it was, please, do something to your trains and tracks. We had no choice but to accept the fare increase, but NOT the increase in train disruptions.

The pigeon came back again. This time, it stood outside my house for like..30 to 45 mins? HAHAHAHA..


The highest it could fly was a maximum of...5cm? Could see that it was trying its best though. Heh.

This is the pigeon that I found out about recently that "patrols" my level every morning. Initially I thought that it was a stray, but after my mother asked the maid in the next unit then we knew that it belonged to some neighbour.

After "re-picking" up some of my Gothic texts, I realised how much I really missed them. I missed meeting the macabre, the dysfunctional, the femme fatales, the labyrinths in those books. Reading these books is akin to meeting your old friends that you once knew so well (which apparently applies to my sec 4 text too, KOTC & 12th night!) I wonder if I will also think this way for my Corporate Law text though. =x

And, I've come to a conclusion on Lit texts. They should be appreciated, not studied. I wonder how many will actually agree on this.
